Katie Murray

Katie Murray is a Program Associate for Conflict Dynamics, working in both the  New Frontiers of Humanitarian Action and Development program areas. Katie supports the work of multiple teams including the Children and Armed Conflict Accountability Initiative, the Humanitarian Access Initiative, and the Humanitarian Negotiation Initiative. Her professional and academic expertise is in the application of international humanitarian law and accountability for conflict-related crimes.

 

Prior to joining Conflict Dynamics, Katie was a legal intern for Global Rights Compliance specializing in enhancing international law compliance and developing case analysis on the prosecution of war crimes in post-conflict environments. Katie holds a Master’s of Law in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from the University of Essex’s School of Law and a BA in International Studies from Cazenovia College.
